Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country pop music and songwriting, gained fame on TV when she became Alex in the third and final seasons of One Tree Hill. In episodes of the show she was seen performing her first country album. Her album of the same name was ranked in the Billboard 200's Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, was also among into the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career the year, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to country music, later on, she decided to make a go of it as a recording artist. She made her acting debut as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. After appearing as a guest for All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular on NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer appeared in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she was on the show until the finale season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre, I Won't Let Go. It later appeared as a track on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. This song landed in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the Top Five. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer launched her second studio album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. It received a boost from the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to number 3 in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. After a two-month stint on the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season the singer was ranked fourth. That year she also had an adult contemporary smash by releasing the song "Feels Like" Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
