Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. Aspen went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - pounded her for a TKO victory in the 2nd round. She remained dominant, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round and got her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
